Savannah James Is Shaking Up Skincare with Reframe; And She’s Got Receipts to Back It Up

Savannah James might be courtside royalty and a total fashion muse, but don’t get it twisted—her latest move into skincare? It’s pure passion meets precision.

After two years of research, testing, and pouring her heart into it, Savannah just dropped Reframe, a science-backed, inclusive skincare brand designed to change the clinical beauty game. And no, this isn’t a celeb-slaps-their-name-on-a-label moment. This is the real deal.

This is my baby,Savannah told People. “I didn’t want it to be lackluster. I wanted it to be a real product with real research and real results.

Meet the Reframe Launch Lineup

Launching with just three products (because Savannah is all about thoughtful beginnings), Reframe is aiming for glowy, snatched, legit skin—regardless of skin tone or type.

Here’s what’s in the starting trio:

  • Pigment Processor ($115): Formulated with 3% Cetyl Tranexamate Mesylate, this “radar-like” brightener targets only inflamed pigment to reduce redness and dark spots—without irritation.
  • Compression Complex ($95): Think of this as your instant hydration-meets-contour boost, giving you an instant snatch. It also protects from free-radical damage.
  • Circadian Cream ($135): A luxurious night cream that helps “put your skin to sleep and rebuild while you rest,” with next-gen tech and collagen-boosting benefits.

Backed by Experts, Not Hype

To make sure Reframe worked for everyone, Savannah partnered with Howard University’s College of Dermatology, conducting clinical trials across the Fitzpatrick scale (aka a skin tone spectrum ranging from very fair to deep).

It needed to be accredited from an educational institution,” she said. “We wanted to reframe what clinical skincare looks like—for the real world.

This marks the first time a major celebrity-backed skincare brand has teamed up with a historically Black university for product testing. Groundbreaking? Yup.

Packaging That Pops, Ingredients That Perform

Savannah wanted the brand to feel as good as it looks. The packaging is vibrant, artsy, and nothing like your typical sterile, clinical creams.

I think we all want something that’s beautiful and that we want to look at every day,” she told People. “Something that’s fun and new.

And Reframe delivers on that front and with serious skin science.

No Makeup? No Problem.

Savannah showed up to her People interview barefaced and glowing, swearing by the products she helped formulate.

I’ve primarily been using these products on my skin,” she said, gesturing to the trio of bottles.

Spoiler: her skin looked amazing.

But Wait, There’s More

Even though she’s not the face of the brand (on purpose—Savannah wants Reframe to stand on its own), her work ethic and vision are everywhere in the details.

I don’t want it to be looked at like, ‘oh, she had time, so she did something with skin care.’ I’ve really, really invested a lot of time and research into making sure that these are products that can compete with any clinical skin care or luxury skincare brand that exists on the market, because it’s something that I would love to go into a store and find or see online and use myself.

And yes, more products are already in the works.

We’re already working on some really cool things,” she says. “This is just our foot in the door. The sky is the limit.
